If you are a final year student majoring in auditing, accounting, economics, finance, tax or relevant field, it is the right time for you to join our Grant Thornton‘s internship program from Jan 2010 to Apr 2010.

Our offer is extended to you all with equal opportunity to join our audit and assurance division in Ho Chi Minh City Office. Our internship program for the year 2010 aims at bringing you the opportunity to kick-start your auditing and accounting career as well as your first experience of how a firm of chartered public accountants operates, who we are and what we do. We also focus on giving our trainees valuable advice on business acumen, personal skills and a structured career path.

At the end of the program, successful trainees you may be offered a graduate position following the completion of their degree.

Test and interview

We look for students with a strong academic record, developed interpersonal skills, and great passion for accounting work.

Your resume and qualifications will be reviewed by our recruitment team. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted  for the interview process, which includes  following steps:

• Written test of English and Accounting skills.
• Brief interview by HR Division: This will be conducted to give you chance to personally present your resume and enabling us to get to know you, your career plan and objectives as well as evaluation of your qualifications.
• Final interview by Division managers: This will give you the opportunity to share your understanding and objectives in more detail. The Division Manager will ask you question relating to your educational background, your understanding of community and work-related information. During this interview, you will be provided with insight into your career. We will also be very open should you have any questions that might help you in preparation for the first step in  your future career.

Successful candidates and offer letter

Successful candidates will be contacted via email or phone. We will send you a written offer letter for the internship. If you have any concerns in relation to the offer, you are encouraged discuss these with our HR Division for official feedback.
